County Smoak
Located on Timberlake Road, County Smoak is doing it all, a small business doing big things is just what you may need when those BBQ cravings are calling your name! Experience their brisket, pork butt, ribs, chicken, turkey, and sausage rubbed in an original spice mix and smoked all day in a wood-fired smoker. Come and enjoy everything from stuffed potatoes and platters to sandwiches and sides! Sunday:11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday -Tuesday: Closed, Wednesday – Thursday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday – Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Blue Ridge BBQ & Catering
Located on Timberlake Road near Waterlick Plaza, Blue Ridge BBQ is a family-owned restaurant which is also fairly new to the Lynchburg area. Their menu includes an affordable variety of sandwiches, platters, bulk options and smoked hot dogs. They have a full-service catering menu, as well. Blue Ridge BBQ is open Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Pok-E-Joe’s
Located off Boonsboro Road in Lynchburg, Pok-E-Joe’s serves specialty hickory-smoked meats and much more. They offer various sizes and styles of barbecue meals, along with burgers, hot dogs and chicken. They have daily and weekly specials to try, and a large catering menu, too. Their hours are Monday-Thursday 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.-9 p.m. (during which time they also offer breakfast options).
Mission BBQ
Located off Wards Road in Lynchburg, Mission BBQ is serving up barbecue with mission and purpose. More than $10 million dollars has been donated towards national and local charitable organizations benefiting local police, firefighters, first responders and military organizations. Their menu includes all the classics such as brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and turkey. Their hours are Monday-Saturday 11AM – 9PM and Sunday 11:30AM – 8:30PM.
